Mary and Martha wanted Jesus to heal their brother. He didn’t because He had something better in planned.

When we are in a relationship with Jesus, He promises to care for us as a good shepherd would for his flock. 

When our hearts are hopeless or hardened we wind up putting our trust in things other than Jesus. We need to allow the light of Jesus to invade and expose the dark so that he can offer hope and direction.

We all have hungers. Some are physical, but the hardest to satisfy are "soul hungers."  Jesus is the only thing that will leave us fully satisfied. 

It's often those who we hold the closest that hurt us the deepest. Forgiving those that have hurt us is not for their benefit but for ours.
